1998 PONTIAC Bonneville, runs good, won't start, $950. 208-713-****.
Based on the classified ad...it might be worth a look I think to turn around for some quick cash. What do you think the problem actually is...answer coming soon. Well its 130 miles away..maybe next weekend.
I'm going to call the person and ask them these questions:
1. What is the level of the coolant, you know the red stuff in the plastic container on the left of the engine? Is it low?
2. Does the Security light flash with the key inserted?
3. Does the starter "tick" once and not turn over?
What are some other good questions? (something that someone that does not know much about cars can answer easily..)
I think I can probably talk them down to $500 by the end of next week if it is not sold (I have perfect haggle skills and can pick out everything wrong on one of these cars thanks to bc lol)

I think you'd be better off going over there yourself (try not to get hurt) and checking it out. If you don't want it, you could give them a better idea of why it won't start.
How about, "how do you know it runs good if it won't start?"
But seriously, if you're thinking of flipping this car, first thing I'd want to know is mileage on the odometer and general cosmetic condition...just to see if the idea is even worthwhile.

And there'* at least one item on the poll that could quickly turn it from "ran great" to "will never run again"
