Default nono..

We where having a race from his acredge to my house. He beat me to the off ramp but he had to slow down to like 90km/h so he wouldn't go into the ditch. Then I passed him on the banked turn (you probably dont know what im talking about) to the merger on the highway.
Hmm..I'll have to ask him if its a SOHC or DOHC I know it is the 4.6... and I think he said it was the 'mustang' engine..

Isn't that called the after-race "Luser Pass" that the guy who always loses has to go flying past after the winner slows down?

I dunno about the offramps up there, but down here you shouldn't be doing that. On a long sweeping one i kep t my speed at 70 and when i hit the "turn" part of it i was like WHOA STILL AT 70... (This was testing a simple ram-air system) So i hit the brakes to slow down, low and behold my 3700 lbs or so of a FWD car started drifting... I'm glad i know how to control a car like that, but most people woulda hit the brakes more, and really gone over. There is a 20 foot roll down on the outside edge so the Purple Pearl woulda been done for if i ran off...

70mph? or km/h?

on ramps and off ramps are generaly rated for 60km/h This was a 3lane road (2north, 1 south) the off ramp turned into one. He beat me to the off ramp turn so I had to cut behind him and then once it turned into a 'off ramp merge' where the left turn and the right turn meat. I passed him in the left turn lane then it was steeply banked all the way to the highway. Once we merged into the highway I went to last gear then hit 175km/h before I had to turn on to my off ramp. In town theres no two lanes or way to pass so I just went 15% over speed limit. This also has to do with the stiffniss of the suspension that where talking about in another thread..

Well I just got new regatta 2'* for a 'passanger car' tire they grip so good. Also Ive taken the camaro around some turns I didnt really upgrade the suspension from v6 to v8 (I have the springs just not the time or the hydrolic lift) so it gets squirly and the body roll kills me around corners... yeah with the trofeo no body roll.. full grip even at 145km/h around a good corner.

A friend of mine has a 2000 GTP and he eats 'Stangs like they're his favorite meal. Is there a difference, or maybe all the 'Stang owners here just can't drive (which would not surprise me in the least...).
