I have to say back in the day if you had the 2.97 Gear ratio it was a fun car to tool around in.. 2.84 was too heavy ans 3.33 was overkill..
And the SE( Loaded ) and SSE had all kinds of toys.... Kinda hard to not like them
And I love the commercial

Fords 3.8 only made 140 in the 95 Taurus we had and when you floored it it felt like all of a Geos three cylinders had more power. Then they claimed it was for towing but as soon as it had a load the trans couldnt handle it.
