1988 Pontiac Bonneville questions

Just remember if you are looking at the 87-91 Bonnevilles that you will only see this on the 88-91 SSE Bonnevilles... The 87-91 Bonneville, Bonneville LE and Bonneville SE did not have these features...
But they could have come with the idiot light Driver information Center, and the Light monitor in place of the compass... I have an unloaded 91 LE as well and love it too

Just thought I'd let you all know that I bought it!
Yes, I now have a 1988 Pontiac Bonneville SSE in silver with grey leather.
A pleasant surprise was the mileage. I was told it had done 130,000ish miles. When I got there to view it I found it was a Canadian car and had actually done 132,000 kilometres - roughly 82,000 miles!
Despite its origins it seems to be remarkably rust free. Pictures will follow as soon as I get round to taking some!

Yes, I'm enjoying it at the moment! I have been spending so much time doibg post-purchase sorting out that I haven't had time to even post in any other forums about it yet! I hope to take some photos this weekend.

welcome! you have definitely found the right place to call home while you own your bonnie and hopefully long after she quits! glad to see that you got one...i was hoping you might be able to procure a 96-99 model. in my never to be humble opinion, they have less quality control issues than the 2000+, and better looks/power/ etc. than the 92-95 models. in your case, your car is actually becoming rare enough (in good condition) that is is slowly assimilating "collector car" status amongst bonnie enthusiasts. enjoy...and if you have any questions...ask away! everyone here is ready to help.
