Default 180* question..

Are the 180* thermostats the same for series 1 and series 2 L67 and series 2 L36? I have a chance of getting one from a series 2 L67 and need to know if it'll fit in either of my cars.

the new spiffy ones that are supposed to fail into the open position if they do fail are like 6 bucks.

They are cheap enough anywhere to buy them new. I got mine at autozone for 7 bucks.

Think about time and gaskets if it fails quickly...
