Great thread guys. And good work on this. Yes, if your trans isn't healthy, your TC can slip to the point that it'* not transferring the power to the drive axles efficiently. Pdad is right on the money. And it can be more apparent (usually is) at higher operating temps. I'd be curious to see a scantool on the car, and determine the TC RPM slip while driving. You may consider a flush and add a tranny cooler, but it would be best to diagnose it further before spending the dough.
