Default 04-05 Bonneville GXP

There is a post going in the Performance Index that started leaning to the new GXP. Everyone seems curious about it. I have a great link for up to date info on the actual release modelhttp://www.modernracer.com/history/p...xphistory.html

Under the heading of CONS is says;

"It'* actually an import, thus upsetting hardcore domestic fans."

What does this mean? It'* made in Canada???!!!

Woooweee, built in Canada. That'* not much of an import if you ask me. My windshield washer resovoir says "MADE IN CANADA."
So just because Acura'* are assembled in Ohio makes them domestic? It still has a Honda engine made in Japan, with countless other parts.

Yup, the leather came from a mad cow, the overhead compartments have complimentary SARS masks, the glove boxes have DEET to repel the west nile mosquitos, the interior lights inexplicably go off once in a while oh and there there is a Rush CD free already loaded in the player.

Did I mention the 2-4 of Blue in the accessories kit, with a free Pontiac toque.

Yeah, the U.*. is just waiting for Quebec to secede from the Canadian Union so we can annex the rest of Canada as our 51 st state Then the Bonneville GXP will truely be domestic again :P
