Default 03 SSEi

I was looking at this SSEi over the weekend.

Disregard the price tag on the windshield, it'* been reduced to $18,495. This car is showroom mint condition with 16,500 miles on the clock. If I could get it for $ 18,000, do you think it'* a good deal?

Something isn't right if my eyes see the exhaust tips as being OVAL?

03 should have the cow bell exhaust and a car with that low of mileage shouldn't have different factory tips to my knowledge.

I'm all for a low mileage SSEi if you are in for the added fuel cost and possible tickets you face in the future.

If you can verify the claims on Carfax and ensure yourself you know what'* going on with the exhaust (if anything), it seems to be about in line with expected pricing.

Mine is an 02 and it came with the oval tips. I thought they switched the tips after '01?

Those are my thoughts too. Those tips look fine to me.

Sorry...I thought all 00+ had the cow bells. Didn't realize there was a choice.

Could the previous owner have changed them possibly? Anything can happen, you know..

00-01 had the cow bells and the 02+ had the Ovals, there was no choice....just one of the quirks of different years

Looks like a good car to me, and it'* a desirable year due to its slightly upgraded interior. In 03 the Bonneville got the Aurora door handles, seats, and exhaust tips. The only thing I'm not so sure about is that color on a Bonneville. It might just be the lighting though. I say definatley test drive it.
