Default ****Request from Pontiac Performance****

For those that get the magazine (this is NOT High Performance Pontiac....HPP, but the GM publication) or those that read it at a dealership:

Susan Brohman, the author of the fantastic article featuring our Forum, and the person behind most of the Bonneville owner features in subsequent issues, is trying to get a feel for our thoughts on the magazine. This is in an effort to encourage Dealerships to continue participating in the Magazine Program, at least with regards to showroom floor copies, and perhaps subscriptions for new owners as well.

If you are a subscriber to the magazine, or read it at a dealership from time to time, please share your thoughts. Let'* try to keep this topic factual and on-topic. It will be read by others within the publishing company and GM, as well as Dealerships. Please add your REAL name at the bottom of your reply if you'd like (or would allow) your comments to be quoted in a publication that most of us won't ever see.

My comments:

For me personally, Pontiac Performance is a magazine that keeps me up to date on the divisions latest offerings and direction. This is even more important for me now that the Bonneville has been discontinued, and at some point I'll have to look at a replacement platform. My goal is to stay with Pontiac, and I'd like to stay abreast of the current offerings.

In addition, I strongly feel that the magazine should be available to sales people at the Pontiac Dealerships. There'* so much more information than could possibly be included in sales brochures, that the sales people could really benefit from it. Knowing the answers to a potential customer'* questions is paramount. Sales are dependent on this.

Having it available on the showroom floor for potential customers to read existing customer'* stories and successes can provide a great sense of confidence in their car-buying decision process. They feel 'safe' in the decision they are making based on other customer'* experiences.

The Pontiac Performance is a magazine that helps me know what is going on within Pontiac that the typical car magazines won't touch on. I am an avid Pontiac enthusiast and this helps me know what is going on and how Pontiac differentiates itself from other GM vehicle lines.

Furthermore, the magazine is an excellent knowledge resource to dealership employees that need it the most. It shows a different side of the vehicles they sell; far more than what a brochure could offer. I do not see this offered in other showrooms and helps set Pontiac apart from the competition while showing the traits of Pontiac to potential buyers.

Wrong mag, lash.

Pontiac Performance is published by GM.

Register here:

Then find the link to the mag.

I enjoy Pontiac Perfromance magazine for the main reasons stated by other subscribers, a look at new models and news within the Pontiac Division itself. The publication is well rounded and gives me the insight into the new models i need to make my next Pontiac purchase a right one.
