No, you didn't offend me. I 'm like this with anyone I talk to about cars vs. trucks. I do drive both vehicles and I try to give both points across from a trucker and a 4-wheeler (car).

I got to disagree with that pic, because 90% or more of the trucks i see have a window down low on the passenger side door, so they can see cars right next to them. Aren't some upscale trucks coming out now with cameras and computer screens?

I'm sure the new ones are. It'* only the smart thing to do. We have to pass in those areas at some point, and if it'* so dangerous, they have to do something about it.

Dood, how many companies do you think are just gonna spring for the new technology when they have 25 year old trucks that run fine? Those diesels last for stinkin' ever. I used to ride in a rig as a second man, and I'm here to tell ya, those low windows do jack crap...You can see a window of about a foot and a half out the side...

Around here, alot of the truckers will flash their park lights to give you the all-clear to pass. I find that if you edge to the side to see if any traffic is coming, they're fairly in-tune to that...now some aren't, but it'* not the majority by a long stretch...
