Default Suggestion for fixing Search Function

Maybe I'm missing something and/or doing something wrong, but I found the following frustrating, and maybe it could be fixed. Here is scenerio:
I search for something by keyword. I get a bunch of threads are listed as results of my keywords.. I click on a thread that looks like it may be relevent...that thread comes up and I read it, but doesn't pertain to my issue. Now, I cannot get back to the results of my search....If I click the "Back" button in my Browser, I get a "Page Expired" message. I have to do a Search once again to get the list of threads. Am I missing something? Thanks

It happens to me too. I just hit "refresh" and then the "retry" button when the "page expired" message comes up and the results from the search are shown.

Doing so clears your cookies.

That doesn't clear cookies. It just refreshes the list. Please understand that it only has this effect on page 1 of your search results. These are the most recent topics, and it forces a refresh in case a new topic matching your search criteria has been posted.

ahhhhh, ok. I have wondered that as well, just did the refresh / retry thing and never really worried about it.

Easy solution is when you have the list of results in front of you, right click and open each one you want to read in a new window, that way you still have the main search page there, works for me, hehe

I agree, although tabs in firefox work a lot better IMO.

Well of course, but for those not using firefox, that is the solution. I use both firefox AND ie, why?? cause I can, lol.
