Anyone can already do this below their avatar so why the fuss?
There havent been rules applied to the text after the Avatar. Like Toasted has "The Clear Corner King", just put your name there if you desire.

You can't currently add your name to your profile in a designated field.

Toasted has his "name" in the location field.

I think it would be a great idea and it will be a little bit more personal llike PeterG was saying.

I realize that Vital, but the point is You can add your name. It just seems to trivial a thing to me to change something in the Forum. And since I have been here I have noticed and liked the point that keeping the Forum as Jeff incepted it is a key goal of the Club. I think the name under the location looks fine. Why bother rewriting code. Maybe Some dont realize this can be done.

Sure you can put your name in the Location field, but thats not what it was intended for right?,so many members both new and old wouldnt think of something like this. If you had one for your name then people would think to put it there, like new members the have NFC whats what when they first join

Yeah, but what about all the people who have sigs that look good already with their name in them? ITS GONNA GET SO CONFUSING. I thought it was good just to suggest the name thing in the sig regulations thread.

Is this gonna be in the left bar section or is it gonna be automatically included more to the right...say..sig real estate. Just so it stands out more. Also, will it be in bold?

I think this is a good idea, its much easier and nice to just look at the user name and glance down and see the person real name
