Default Lock your own posts

I was thinking about some things on both this and other forums, and got to thinking. It would be nice if we were able to lock our own posts. This would really be useful for the wanted and for sale forums mostly, since the poster could lock it once the item sold, or they found the item they needed, but it would also be good for topics looking for help, that has help received.

But maybe someone has something to add or a question directly related. The thread originator can simply post "Part found, Probem Fixed," in the thread and title. I don't see the need to lock it.

There are very few reasons to lock a post. Most of them are administrative.

Locking a post just because the author thinks it'* over doesn't mean it'* over.
