Draft 1:

www.mfxpop.com/~aarons/misc/cert.jpg

It'* 300 DPI for printing purposes so its huge. Comments accepted. Yes the date will show the month and year you won and the big white space includes a pic of your car.

*bump*

I know its short term, but I wanted to bump this since it might not have been clear. Take a look at the link in my above post and let me know what you guys are thinking? Suggestions on copy, placement, style, et cetera are requested.

What goes in the two gaps? Name and picture?

Im not big on the frilly boarder around it i think it can be done away with. also the line where it says "his or her peers" could you have to different drafts so that it say "HIS" or "HER" peers (not both) so it seams more personal and less Genaric. also above the line "Car Of The Month" it would be cool for the month and year in question to be there, you could keep the one at the bottom (just down size it a little) for issue date and not nessesaraly for which month it was won, and finally i like to see what it would look like horizontaly aswell (just for curiosity)

I'd personally prefer something less 'old-style official'. Lose the certificate border, and go with something more modern and graphical.

I could go with two different styles and let the winner choose. Some people like that old school certificate kinda look? I'll work on draft 2 tonight

Incidently.. The month and year goes in one of the gaps, the screen name in another and the main pic from the COTM page is inserted in the big gap.

Just an FYI.. I forgot I had a defensive driving class tonight (No wise *** comments, keep it on topic please) so I'll be working on the certificate tomorrow.
