Default Chat room suggestion/update

How about this idea? Several members have noticed how the chat usage has died down. I think it is a pain to have to go to the links page, to see if anyone is there. I think this is why it has died down some. My suggestion is that this be added to the bottom of the overall_footer.tpl file of the template, so the users in the chat are always show. Here is what needs to be added:

<html>
<script language="JavaScript">
<!--
function SymError()
{
return true;
}
window.onerror = SymError;
var SymRealWinOpen = window.open;
function SymWinOpen(url, name, attributes)
{
return (new Object());
}
window.open = SymWinOpen;
//-->
</script>
<script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.archiefamily.com/cgi-bin/gtchat/gtchatusers.pl"></script>
</html>
Check out http://sebonnevilleclub.com/techinfo/ and look at the bottom, the chat users should appear at the bottom.

Who thinks this is a good idea and would restart the usage of the chatroom?

Per the site owner'* request and wishes, that will not be added to the main forum page. Everyone here is aware of the Chat room, and knows where to find the link. That'* going to have to suffice for now, at least until the site is updated/upgraded.

Jeff speaks. He DID allow me to add it to the Links section, but it'* not part of the main forum yet. This is his Forum, so his wishes will be abided by.

We'll discuss this further when the site is being updated.
