I'm not knocking deleting posts, I'm just saying the BMW moderator deleted duplicate posts to save the limited space they had. It was a good thing.
The mom comment was a joke, Some people are too lazy to do some investigating before they start posting the same ol' same ol'.

I think this is all a good idea. It'* just encouraging new people to do some reading and learning before they start posting and asking something for the 1000th time. That way there will be less wading through all the posts.
