I think of the Admins and Mods here as police officers. You arent going to help yourself at all if you argue with them, especially if you are in the wrong. It'* best to swallow your pride and bob your head with a "yes, sir".

I would rather be one of the sheep than the goat.

Oops. I neglected to make that clear. Jim is right. This is less than 10% of our dealings with PPF/Deathrat in the last year. Most of this stuff is from the last 4 or 5 months? Something like that.

Far more does exist, but I don't think it'* necessary to release it.

Now that i personaly know Willwren I know that the entire BC staff will do what is in the best interest of the entire BC members. I understand that there are times when people can loose their temper but there is a limit to when it becomes too much.

I also belive that Deathrat should not be purely depending on his business to survive from one advertisment source. I've seen a lot of things on his site I would like to have but I can get somewhere else at a much cheaper price.

I fully support the staff'* decisions......

I have full faith in the Admins/Mods/Staff of BC. I trust them to look out for our best interests and not be personally swayed one way or another. I believe in thier decisions because they make them as a team and weigh all the facts before arriving at a decision.

When I first read Al'* post I wasn't sure exactly what to think but after I read the info provided I am confident that Bill & staff acted as they should and made the right decision.

I believe in this situation they were fair but when push comes to shove they are going to prevail and won't be bullied.

OKAY FIRST OF ALL I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE for using me as an example, when, 3 days later, i'm just finding this out, i love that...cough

SECONDLY:
FOR The last time it WAS a bad coil, its cracked, infact i still do have it, want proof?! I can take a picture of it.

THIRDLY: I wanted to do some look good mods to my car, MSD coils was one of them, for your info, Al'* quotes were the cheapest!! BELIVE IT OR NOT; I DONT CARE!
P.* My alero didnt need them, but im using them..why? they look nice.

As much as I hate beating a dead dog, seems like whats happening here.
Many parts stores will sell you parts regardless, i expect no less. For instance when i bought my TPS from a local parts store, he asked me what it was doing, i told the man it threw a code for it even, he suggested otherwise, i purchased the TPS, turns out, what the stumble was, a miss from a bad coil pack.
Did the guy care? No, why should he, i wouldn't of either. Parts are not for diagnosis, we all know that.
End of vent.

I'm glad you piped in here, Matt.

Nobody is making an example of you, it'* just something that happened, and you were caught in the middle. In your particular case, Al DIDN'T believe it was the coils. He said so himself offline. He sold them anyway.

In my mind this is really shitty. He was a vendor that participated in the troubleshooting of your problem. Then he sold you parts that everyone diagnosing advised against, and in his own words, he did it because he was in the business of making money. Big wrong. He'* held to a higher standard as a vendor, and should have known better than to get involved in these conflicting manners.

In addition, your symptoms as you described them did NOT indicate a bad coil, and a crack isn't necessarily indicative of a faulty coil anyway. This whole point is moot, actually. There was alot more going on behind the scenes, and nobody here really has a clue how involved it was, or how many issues there really were.

There have been countless episodes with him in the past, and it'* always our fault, not his. If he wants to continue to believe the conspiracy theory, and that everyone else is out to get him, and to deliberately and knowingly violate the terms of an agreement he made with the Admins of this Forum, then that'* up to him.

As an Admin of this Forum, I won't tolerate these types of business practices, regardless of whether a coil was bad or not. The coil being good or bad is of no consequence in the present situation. His actions at the time were.

to tell you the truth, i didn't think it was the coils either. since I saw them on your car, I have wanted them it looked easy enough to do, and it looked good, and would of suited me good if i wanted to pursue working on that mechanical terror, i chose not to.
I was always in murky water with that car.
I tend to make my own descisions weather or not anyone says yey or ney.
Good enough for me. I make the money, i spend the money.

But you must understand, i do wish to be made aware of me being used in a post of such importance.
Thank you,

Matt, that whole episode was already public record, and many people remember it well enough that your name could have been bleeped and it wouldn't matter. It doesn't shed you in a bad light, nor is it inflammatory towards you.

It was an example of a very poor decision on Al'* part, nothing more.

The best example I've seen of feedback on a vendor is the way Ebay does it. Obviously it'* not realistic for BC to have that so it'* nice to know the Admins are looking out for everyones well being. As a community, it'* our responsibility to protect others from bad business dealings. As read in the IM conversation, it'* obvious willwren is an animal when it comes to business integrity and him and all the admins and mods should be commended for their handling of this.

rant over

increase the peace
