Default ZEX dry nitrous kit

I was on ZZP today and came across the ZEX dry or wet nitrous kit. Has anyone used or heard anything about this product, because i'm thinking about getting it.

you should be just fine then. i personally wouldnt spray until 2nd gear for the trannys sake. hard launches on the bottle will definitely shorten the transmissions life

Zex has a good reputation, though I have concerns with any dry kit. I prefer wet setups that do not require the stock fuel injectors to supply the extra fuel. Tuning with fuel and NOS jets has it'* advantages.

Regardless, budget some tools to test with, Something to watch the O2 and knock values when doing WOT passes on the bottle. Bottle gauge is also handy (even if it is just one on the bottle itself..doesn't have to be a fancy one in the dash)

Spraying in 1st gear is ok, just never hit the bottle at anything less than wide open throttle. Use a switch on the throttle that only closes when the bellcrank hits the stops. Then learn to launch the car by rolling the throttle on, not just snapping it wide open. Start with small shots and work your way up. The thing I worry about most is snapping CV'* on hard launches. The rest of the tranny warnings apply to anyone trying to double the engines output...regardless of the method used.
