Will a series 2 intercooler work on a 1993 series 1 l67?

Hey guys,
I'm building up quite a nice series 1 l67 for my 1995 Grand Prix and am hoping to run an intercooler. I'm eyeing the Short Stack IC from ZZP because it'* the only one (that I know of) that will fit under the hood of the Grand Prix, but it'* designed for a Series 2 L67. Does anybody know if this will bolt up between the supercharger and LIM of a series 1?
Thanks for your help.

Would you mind listing the dozen different reasons? It'* not that I doubt you, (because I don't), it'* just that I'm a guy who doesn't mind fabricating and customizing stuff a bit.
:P
:P
The IC core is too big for starters. It'd require more than machining the LIM and the SC outlet. This know because I've seen a few M62'* off the engine, as well as a ZZP SS IC.
Also, you'd have to put a thicker frame around the IC core as the LIM valley on the Series I sits abit higher (shallower) than the Series II LIM.
Fuel rails on the other hand, probably wouldn't require modifications.

Fuel rails would need mods because it goes over and mounts to the SC which will be raised.
The profile of the intercooler won't match the profile of the LIM and SC.
Actual core will be in the wring spot for the outlet of the SC
Bolt holes will be in the wrong spots.
The alternator bracket mounts to the SC snout, what would you do about that?

I see, I didn't realize there was so much difference. I guess if one did go the IC route, you'd be better off making up something yourself. And even that would be challenging. Who knows, maybe if I decide to do it I'll come up with something a do a write-up.
