It would help to know your year. Can you put XXXX (year) and SSEi (or PAultra, etc) in your signature?
The procedure for changing the coupler varies by Series 1 (91-95) and Series 1 and 96-03 Series 2.
Have you checked your oil? All procedures and troubleshooting you may need are in this section. Including tutorials.

Ok, you don't need to pull the entire supercharger to replace the coupler like Series 1 owners do. You can pull just the nosedrive.
www.rollingperformance.com and www.texasthunderbirds.com both have kits and couplers available for you depending on what you need. www.zzperformance also sells the coupler and oil (you'll need 2 bottles for the M90).
You might want to remove the belt and rotate the pulley back and forth. If it'* sloppy, you need a coupler. This is usually indicated by a rattling sound at idle only. Any other noise may indicate low or non-existent oil. Is it leaking? Is it full?
Put "98 SSEi" in your signature with any mods you may have.
www.canadiansupercharger.com will also have an M90 rebuilt nosedrive for you. Not sure if it includes a coupler, but don't buy anything until we troubleshoot the root cause.

And remove the belt and rotate the SC pulley back and forth. There should be no slop. Please describe the squealing noise in more detail. In gear? Out of gear? Accellerating? What rpm'*? Any abnormal belt wear? Belt dust on the motor? Are you sure it'* not an idler pulley?
Lots of questions here.

ok well i checked the oil and that is fine...well it makes the loudest noise when i am acclerarating it is like a loud piched squeel/ grind....im almost sure is comming from the charger plus it only does it when im acclerating but when im just crusing along its fine ... the noise goes away...it will alos do it in park or neutral if i rev the car up past 2000 rpms ....the supercharger has always made a very slight click when it idles so the could be the coupler but whould that make that scream noise?

well it may be the supercharger, but since it happens at higher rpms I would remove the accessory belt to make sure it is not something else.

You can run a Series 2 without the SC belt, so I'd try that first. See if the noise goes away. Yours is sounding more like an idler pulley than a SC to me. But your coupler does sound like it'* starting to wear. Nothing critical yet. But you're going to **** a belt soon I bet as a result of that scream.

I've changed two couplers and to date have not heard of a scream from a coupler.
Like others have said, check all the other pulleys, including the alternator. It is close to the supercharger and can be deceiving as to which is making the noise. Being that you have an SSEi, there is no volt or amp gauge on the cluster to indicate if it'* going bad.
With this item making so much noise, you should be able to remove the belts and feel a bad bearing by rotating each pulley by hand.
