ya there has been a ticking noise since i first bought the car last spring its been steady scince then but ill go out now and take off the belt and c what happens...

ok i have the belt half off and i think u were right the charger is tight and smooth but do u have the rmeove that one motor mount to get the belt off there seems to be no other way

To fully remove the belt, say to change it. The basic procedure is jack up the passenger side front of car. Remove tire, pull plastic shield. This will give you access to the lower motor mount bolt and stud. Once you pull the stud out, remove the spacer from behind it and you can get the betl out. Basic only..I did not include all the steps or safety items.

However in your case you only need to take the belt tension off to turn each pulley by hand and feel them.

ok i think i have it down to the bottom ideler pully is seems loose and wobaly and i dont think a new belt would hurt ...i just hope thats all i think the charger would not have spun that smooth if that was the problem?

i belive its number 9 it felt oftley loose...all the others seemed fine

i was almost wondering to if it could be the belt it looks a little worn but idk if it would make that noise...

i realy didnt notice any more wear on one side than the other but the belt itself has small cracks in the inside idk if that would casue that noise like it slipping? but it doesnt sound like that....

Try oiling one pulley at a time until the noise goes away. Usual safety warnings apply.
