Default Top swap

How hard is it to do a top swap when the engine is in the car and where is the diff on the trans and how do you replace it for the top swap?

It'* a bit involved but very doable. Pull everything off the top, intake, heads. New heads go one, then intake. It will be a little tight putting the tensioners and pulleys on, but can be done. The harmonic balancer can be done threw the wheel well. Remove anything that you can from the engine compartment, battery, fluid bottles, etc.

The diff is on the passenger side of the car right on the end of the transmission. You will see the diff cover right where the axle connects.

I got mine from autozone. Yes, you can remove everything, but be careful, the lines are under pressure, so you will need to remove the freon.

Still may be pressure, so bleed it off first.

Should be fine, you will just need to feel around a bit because you may not be able to see all the bolt holes.

Not always!

My friend came to me with the same problem. "No cold air? You may have an A/C leak." Turns out, it was massively overcharged (over twice the safe pressure). I put a rag over the test port and relieved some of the pressure, and we got a tiny bit of cold air out of the vents.

Freon is hazardous to your health. More freon is more hazardous. Go to a garage and ask them to decompress the system for you. Shouldn't cost too much of anything. The ozone layer will thank you.
