Tip on removing */c oil
While replacing my */c oil with a shiphon which has a thick plastic tube which made it difficult to get really down into the snout, I thought that there must be a better way. I looked around my garage and it came to me.
We all have empty plasic glass cleaner bottles laying around. The trigger has a long and thin plastic tube that reaches down into the plastic bottle to suck out the glass cleaner. I removed the trigger and stuck the thin tube down into the */c snout. I then placed the head of the trigger and pointed it into the empty glass cleaner bottle and started pumping away. The used oil goes into the plastic bottle and the thin tube easily reaches into the */c snout. Quick, clean, easy and cheap! (Hint: wait until the oil is cool)

SC oil change
I went to the pharmacy and asked for 2 oral syringe (have kids and know they are free at any pharmacy) I then went to the local Snowmobile dealer and got some clear tubing 1 foot was like 87 cents. It fit on the end of the syringe perfectly. I then proceeeded to suck the old oil out, when I started to suck air I jacked the drivers side front of the car up and was able to suck a couple more full syringes out. I did not need to use a syringe to replace the oil as the GM oil came in 4oz bottles and the tab fit into the hole on SC perfectly. I used pretty much 2 full bottles. What a stink the old oil had yikes!!!!

I always just take an empty soap bottle and use the top part of it to suck out the oil and use the actual bottle to put the oil in, works great and if the soap is already empty its free.
