Are there disadvantages to water injection.

Wow. You went 100% methanol with no damage? How long have you been doing that Bill?
Mortehl, I said I HAVE 100% methanol. And a couple of TEST SC'*. How do you think I mix my 50/50 mix?

What I'm saying is that I'll test the rotors with 100% methanol to SEE what it does. And to clarify, I have TWO cars. One without and one with epoxy coated rotors.

I also have TWO spares. One for each car.
I was refering to the 93 I didn't know you were attempting to add a system to the 1995.

I'm using pressurized air to deliver rather than a centifugal (expensive) pump. This is my 3rd system using this method, and it works good.

Especially considering I have air on board.
Thats a delivery system I didn't think off?

I'm not adding a system to the 95. And pressurized air delivery has been my method of choice for the 4 systems I've built. We already have the compressor.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I read somehwhere that the water does the actual cooling, and the methanol acts as an octane boost..... I'm lookin' into the snowperformance outfit.....

I disagree. Put alcohol or methanol on your hand. Feel the cooling effect? It cools during evaporation. Now imagine all the Methanol evaporates in the LIM before combustion.

Bill'* right. The methanol has a cooling effect as well as raising your effective octane rating. A double effect.
It is stated that you will be able to drop 0.2" in pulley size without risk of KR.
