Tearing into another GenV

Looks like the end shafts are longer on the gen 5. It would require machining of the Gen 3 case to fit the proper needle bearings.

Yes, that'* right. The Gen5 bearing journal shafts are about 1/4" longer.
I haven't disassembled the gears to know if the other ends have any differences also.

I was just thinking of a cheaper fix for the gen3 people with damaged rotor coatings...
Looks like there might be something for them to look into.
