Ok, I know what you are talking about now. At any rate here is the pic of my belt. Let me know if anything here looks amiss.

It'* hard to tell, but it looks like you're on the absolute low tension mark. See that little arrow on the aluminum casting above the scale on your tensioner? It should be pointing to the lines on the other end of the scale.

it is not possible to switch the two tensioners is it? Are tehy the same or different? Here is another picture of the tensioner more strait on.

I did have to replace the top pulley, but it has not changed my boost gauge. I have to put this problem on hold as I am having a problem with my tranny.

Did you replace your tensioner, or just the pulley on it? Your tensioner is shot, or your belt is stretched/too long.
Is that a stock SC pulley? If so, and you didn't change the entire tensioner assembly, you still have a problem.

I changed the whole tensioner as it was rattling. and when looking at it from the front you could see it moving slightly to the left and right. So far I still have the stock pulley on it. no adjustments....yet.

I missed your question above, probably too late as you've already replaced it, but the two tensioners are NOT interchangeable.
Can you shoot a pic of your new tensioner so we can see your tension marks?
