Virtually identical, but there is no coolant elbow. Replace the straight-barb plastic coolant bypass fitting threaded into the LIM with an all-metal replacement from the dealer though. Otherwise just the same procedure.

That'* what you want, but that seller is FLOZ. Don't buy from him unless your life depends on it, then keep in mind your life is at risk.

I suspected and just confirmed that the eBay sellers AmericanCharger and A1Supercharger are in fact www.canadiansupercharger.com and that these units are rebuilt and distributed out of their Florida location. Canadian Supercharger has LONG been one of our best (if not THE best) sources for rebuilt superchargers and nosedrives.

13ourlucky13 is actually RANDY Peters, Mark Peters' brother (Mark owned Floz). Stay away from him. MARK Peters sells under itsells4you and Superstar1988. Stay away from them as well.

FYI, the negative feedback on A1Supercharger in that auction posted above was left by Mark Peters trying to kill his competition. He was using an eBay alias to do it.

In the past, Mark was dumped from eBay (Superstar198 but eBay did let him back in.

13ourlucky13 has been turned in for their past actions and association with Floz.

To sum all this up, don't hesitate to purchase from www.canadiansupercharger.com , or the eBay sellers AmericanCharger or A1 Supercharger.

The M90 is much easier to change since it doesn't require unbolting the supercharger from the LIM.

M90 is easier. You don't have to remove the supercharger. Just unbolt the nosedrive and let the stink out.

Vital, just buy the stuff at the dealer. That'* what I do. It'* not expensive.

Outlet gasket
Yellow o-rings
red sealant
oil (you need one, get a spare, M90 takes two)
Fuel injector o-ring kit
TB gasket

Update!

I got the supercharger off tonight. Wasn't that bad to get off....no worse than an L36 upper intake.

I then went after the lower intake. Again, not much different than the L36 lower. The lower intake gaskets were rather deformed. But, not anything worse than I expected on a 14 year old car. Supercharger gasket was cracked in about a dozen pieces.

I got the nose drive off the supercharger on the bench. 3 of the 6 holes in the coupler are egg shaped. I assume that'* what was causing the rattling and slop in the pulley (when spun by hand).

Where can I get a replacement coupler? Advance, Napa, Murray'*, AutoZone, GM, and Canadian Supercharger don't sell just the coupler. And, when I do get the coupler, is it directional? I noticed there are shoulders on 3 of the 6 holes in the coupler. Does that shoulder have to ride on the posts in the nose drive or the supercharger? Or, does it not matter?

And...I noticed there wasn't much oil in the supercharger. It didn't stink bad, either. What did come out was clean. The rotors feel very tight. No slop at all. However, the filler plug is stripped. I assume it used to be a 4 or 5 mm allen head. Should a machine shop be able to tap a new one in there? ...any precautions I should know of before I ask them to do it? I figure it'll get drilled out, a helicoil installed, and a plug to match.
