See...I knew you would.

Ok.. Can you get a vid of the noise for us? Maybe that will help. I assume you haven't changed your air filter recently, and we can rule that out. Less restriction would allow for a louder whine.

Meanwhile, don't pay for the oil to be changed unless you are far enough along that you can't stand by the car and squeeze a spray bottle. An allen wrench, $12 (2 bottles of SC oil) and an old sprayer bottle is all you need to change the oil.

I'd absolutely LOVE to get a video for you guys, the problem is I have a stupid digital camera that has video, but doesn't tape the sound. How retarded is that?? But I will see what I can do.

And I'd feel better paying someone to change the SC oil rather than me do it. I'll change oil, but not SC oil. I'm afraid of screwing up my SC.

SC oil is far safer and easier to change than motor oil. Dive in!

Yeah, if you can change your engine oil you can change your SC oil for sure. Though I don't see how the oil, no matter how old can cause more boost at lower speed.

Saph.. the oil and boost is unrelated. She'* saying she'd like to do it because it'* getting older.

Pearl...like others have said.. if you can brush your teeth..you can change the charger oil..
