It will last until u get the new one. Really the only thing that happens to it is the holes start to expand from wear & tear but its far from breaking in my opinion. I just did this surgery.

J,

That'* a brand new ZZP coupler in that thing, isn't it? That'* what Floz was using before Zoomer cut him off. I'd be curious to see if it'* black (eaton) or green (zzp) when you get it out of there.

You'll be fine. You can do 50k miles on a sloppy coupler, no prob.

The rattle SHOULD be just the pins in the coupler. There'* no slop anywhere else. Especially if it spins freely. Remember that the blower turns twice as fast as your engine rpm'*, and even faster than that now with the smaller pulley. So you're slamming it to a stop when you kill the car from about 1600 rpm'* at least.
