Default Oil change for the supercharger

Does anybody know if a supercharger needs a oil change? If so can any mechanic do it?

Yes. No.

It needs changed every 50k or so. Any mechanic will NOT have the proper oil. They will try to put motor oil in it, if they can even figure out how to get to the oil. GM sells a specific animal-fat based oil that is the only thing you should use.

The plug in your 93 will be a 4.5MM allen wrench.

Oh, and warning, if you change it yourself, it is the worst smell in the world, so don't smell it.

IronBear, if you'e anywhere near Red Deer Alberta, hook up with SSEiMatt93. He'* a wizard with the 93 SSEi, and is very familiar with the oil changes.

Also, you may want to take the time to read Techinfo. The link is at the top of the page. There is some information there (including part numbers) specific to your questions.
