ok what i was getting at was i know one of the diferances is the charger to lim, thus you have to get a l36 lim to put a gen5 on. meaning you cant drop a gen5 on a l67 intake. but i was wondering what else is diff between them.... as will pointed there are diferances on the inlet. im about to read the link that was posted...

but one other thing i was trying to figure out. the rotors the gen5 has a better coating on them then the gen3. would it be possable to put them in a gen3 for just a lil bit better flow from the m90... i know it will not be anywhere as good as from doing a whole gen5 swap but still just a brainstorming (so to say) idea. or wonding if anyone has tryed it or if anyone knows the differances between them..

thanks sorry is i messed everyone up.

Have we ascertained there is a different coating? (no time to read the clubgp article)

I'd like to dip a lot of things in that magical Gen V coating to make them more effieient.

What are you saying you can't use a M90 G3 LIM, but you can use an L36? The L36 manifold is nothing like a forced induction manifold.

I would recommend doing some homework before purchasing any parts.

yes the Gen 5 has that abradable coating. The coating wears together from my understanding of it. The MP112 also has this coating on it.

Yes I also have the correct I32 lim that came with it.

There are some obvious differences in what I can feel when I rotate the pulley by hand. I can definitely feel a more positive seal with this Gen V compared to my Gen III.

There are also major differences that will require plugging...like the evap connection at the intake side, and another unknown hose connection. There are an extra two bolts, one on the intake end and the other on the nose drive...no they are not interchangeable.

The outlet is noticeably larger.

Don't you mean L32 LIM, not L36?
