Yea '94 is when they started putting teflon on the rotors, raising VE a little. I would guess '94 would be cooler. The heat is from the turbulence of adding the uncompressed air to the compressed air. The roots supercharger actually pulses, so it creates a lot of turbulence with which to cause heat. I would assume the '94 being able to add the same amount of air (as a '93) with less rotation (pulsing) would mean less heat. Just a thought though

Cool someone else has a 2.4 now. I'm not the only one. I've got some KR but need to change my plugs soon and re-modify my intake setup. Actually I'm considering picking up some TR-6'* soon and going with a gap around .048-.050 with em. Should help some. It'* all trial and error with these series 1'*. The 2.4 really makes this car haul some serious arse when the air is cold. Surpised the heck out of me one morning...

Im considering a 2.4 with my rockers and if DrJay ever gets around to getting us header specs that should help too. But I think a little bottle of laughing gas is in my future at the moment. I know that will help cool things down.

I'm running a 2.1" on a 92 SSE. I need to get it scanned to see what kind of KR I'm dealing with.. I can definitely feel it in 3rd gear, but it pulls really hard through first and second in this cool weather. Anyone know of any PC based scanners? I tried EFILive, but it couldnt get a reading from the ALDL port..
