no, because it is $450....

You can have it done by magnussen for around $500 (the only authorized rebuilder), and that will include all new bearings, coupler, and often new rotors.

they charge $450 for the rebuild when you can get the parts for well under $80.

THE GOOD
Our preferred and trusted vendor is www.canadiansupercharger.com
CSC ALSO has 2 eBay profiles that they sell SC'* under. These are:

AmericanCharger
and A1Supercharger
__________________________________________________ _________
THE BAD

WARNING.....the BAD seller on eBay uses a VERY similar profile name:
AmericanSuperCharger

In addition, they use:
itsells4U, superstar1988, 13ourlucky13. Who are these guys? Do a search of this Forum on FLOZ, Floz, flozzed, Mark Peters, and a few others.

Then read this:
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=63220

This is some of their crappy work:

Mark Peters is as dirty as they come. He joined our Forum at one time (3 times actually) acting as satisfied customers of Floz in order to drum up business.

Watch the take down:

THE UGLY

These grossly inferior supercharger vendors are giving bad product to good members and innocents across North America. Some prominent members of this Forum are among the victims. We have been actively pursuing this scum since February of 2003.

To make matters worse, their crappy reputation and similar business name (which they recently changed AGAIN) is putting a dent in a trusted Vendor'* reputation and business. Brian, the owner of Canadian Supercharger (A1 Supercharger/AmericanCharger on eBay) told me on the phone this morning just how bad it is.

Brian has been the best by FAR for us for a few years now. He provides quality work, excellent customer satisfaction, and great turnaround time. Not to mention very competitive pricing and FULL rebuilds. Unlike many eBay and Internet sellers.

Bottom line? If in doubt, ASK before buying. Play it safe.
So the long story short:

www.canadiansupercharger.com IS in fact AMERICANCHARGER on Ebay. FLOZ (randy peters, scum of the earth) is AMERICAN SUPERCHARGER. He chose this ebay ID to leach off good business.

The supercharger listed is from a great vendor. CSC also has a rebuild facility in Florida, where all US-bound SC'* are rebuilt and shipped from. This is clearly stated in the ANNOUNCEMENT at the top of the Forced Induction section.

That may be the only GM AUTHORIZED rebuilder, but we have great trust and respect for our Forum-preferred vendor, www.canadiansupercharger.com whi is in fact, the vendor that posted that ebay ad.

My goof on the wrong call above. I thought Scotty linked up to the General Chat sticky.

Carry on. The ebay seller names are very confusing. FLOZ (Mark Peters) did this on purpose to leech off the good reputation of CSC.
