I have seen Floz superchargers with and without painted over bolts and PCV covers. Mostly without.

That is not an indicator.

I only thing I"m worried about is I am supposed to have a rebuilt supercharger and the stupid coupler still rattles in this one.

You wouldn't be the first to get a 'rebuilt' Floz unit with a bad coupler. ZZP cut him off on the replacement couplers some time ago (back in '02) and he was in the hurt locker for awhile. It seems he shipped a few with bad ones before he found another source.

A coupler SHOULD go 75-100k with the average driver on a stock pulley. The lifetime goes down proportionally with the weight of your foot and the diameter of your pulley drop.

For instance, my ZZP coupler is pushing 3 years old. It'* just starting to rattle now. That'* an early death, but you can guess which car it'* in.

With two L67'* in the house, I keep a spare handy.

First of all, thanks for the link willwren, 2ndly.........crap....I'm going to half to wait till 2007 since that'* half of what I paid for the whole car. I should have gotten one at the crap yard, and tried rebuilding that one while I put mine on the road.

the engine is half the size!!!

if you put a 2.2" pulley on that it might max out the kr pretty quick.

Yup. Higher efficiency and a redesigned (*-port) inlet. Same design as the Gen5 M90.
