Depending on the atmosphere...density of the air...temp....anywhere between 5-8 PSI i'd figure. Not sure though.
I was getting about 7 myself. i dont know whats wrong with this car. I tried shutting the boost selenoid because it would open up. I did that and then i couldnt even get over 0 psi. I have an adjustable clmp on it. when i loosened the calmp, i can get more boost. I was told the selenoid was suppose to stay closed. if so, why did my boost loose power? when i loose the clamp so air get in it, the car boost gauge reads higher boost? i know i am going to get it for explaining like this but you all dont know how hard it is to explain stuff and its like you barely know what to say or talk about
i had a similar problem on my 2000 ssei, i was not able to boost more than the middle of the gage
(35 kpa) may be 3-4 psi and i got my boost control solenoid replace and bam!
full boost, no problem since. u can also check for vacuum leak.
dunno if its what you are talkin about , hope this help ,
good luck

Dood.. I don't know Chicago Ghetto.. no idea wat you're sayin.. lmao
Mike.. think of it this way. maxed out on gauge is 10psi.. you know where zero is.. so it'* roughly bout 2.5PSI per bar on the gauge.. thats my driving math.. I never googled it to find exact.. but I'm pretty sure it will be roughly bout the same since the US folks gauge says 10PSI max.. and our is some odd ball KPa # I don't remember.

Ok...I got a little insight here...
Steve...is this the same broken boost solenoid you were trying to fix the other day and figured out it was broken and needed replacement? If so...please..don't measure performance with this broken piece of junk...wait til the new one comes in and you bolt a fresh clean well working one onto your baby. Then hit it and see what it does. Bet you are really happy.
MMMMM http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=35053 yep!!!! trying to gauge off a broken part is only going to leave you with broken readings. I just earned one of these

Plus..I've got a little test for you. Turn your key on..but don't start the car. Where does your gauge read.... 0? or a little one way or the other. Mine is a little to the left (vacuum) side. Which means that even if my gauge (remember all gauges are only reference...not perfect) reads 7 pounds..I'm really closer to 9-10.
The gauge is a reference...use it to see the boost is working and let the car pushing you back in the seat tell you how much boost you are getting. Some call it there Buttometer.

Oh...hey steve... I got a little problem here...
I think I'm having boost problems and wonder...

Do you think my socks are having an effect on the boost solenoid???
Since you just worked on yours I thought you could help me out here..
