After running the hottest water my place provides, showing 118* on my DVM, I could barely keep my fingers in it more than a couple moments. Maybe my SC wasn't that hot after all.

I'm not saying go buy one, make one. Getting stuff like that machined is not that difficult.
Shawn, this is a totally different animal. There'* a TON of hardware to change in order to raise the SC. Series 1 ain't no picnic in this regard.

My next LIM modification will include a change to the LIM to help with this somewhat. But I won't be adding a spacer. It'* just not practical from a financial standpoint. It would cost far too much for very little gain.

Put the thermsistor on the SC and the highest temp I saw was 122*. My intake pipe, however was 63*
