Default Finally going from a 2.85 to a 2.55

Well, 92BonneSE may have found me a 2.55 pulley off of a 92-93 and I am gonna buy it. What is the absolute required things to do before I pop it on? Just a colder spark plug? I already have a cold air intake and new belden wires.

Check your fuel pressure. It MUST meet minimum factory spec of 41-47 PSI. Check for exhaust manifold cracks. They're very hard to see.

Have a scantool in the toolbox before you put the pulley on the car.
180° thermostat, and a high-flow cat is STRONGLY suggested.

It'* not just a slap it on and go thing.

Alright. Will do.

I have the 180* thermo. I will have to find someone near me with a scantool and I know someone with a extra magnaflow cat they want to sell to me.
