Default A few questions about the underside of the M62

First off what is the measurement from the superhcarger inlet side of the bypass hole to the end of the base on the supercharger outlet?

If your looking at the outlet of the supercharger - closest to the snout. On the outside of the outlet pocket, on either side their are identical circular shaped holes. What are those holes for? They look like they are part of the PCV? What is the distance between them? What is the diameter of them?

Now follow those circular holes and go strait up towards the inlet of the supercharger. Their are two more smaller identical circular holes. IIRC their are no holes in the LIM or supercharger gasket for them. I know one goes to the black vac tree facing the front of the car. What does the other one go to?

Now right at the very tip of the inlet their are two coolant hols that come from the LIM go through the supercharger and into the throttle body. Right beside one of the coolant hole is another bigger hole. This hole also comes from the LIM and through the supercharger and to the throttle body. IIRC this is PCV.

Now if I'm correct how is the PCV system working? Where do the to PCV holes near the outlet lead to or come from?

In this pic, the hole at the top right near the coolant passages recieves crankcase gasses from the FRONT bank (lower part of the pic). Yup. From the OPPOSITE SIDE.

The hole at the top left of this pic closest to the alternator or #2 cylinder vents the REAR bank of crankcase gasses.

The hole at the bottom left returns them back to the LIM after passing through the PCV valve.

Comparing this to the underside of Petraman'* SC above should answer your question.

Maybe if you tell us what it is you have in mind, we can understand your request a bit better. Even your measurement request is kinda vague.

Can you put your year and model in your sig, also?
Both your 92 and your GTP?

I was wondering what the measurement was between the (going across the inlet of the LIM) 'The hole at the top left of this pic closest to the alternator or #2 cylinder' and 'The hole at the bottom left'. I'd like to have to the inside of the holes and to the outside of the holes.

Then if you look where the boost bypass hole is in the LIM. Take the measurement from the (closest side to the coolant holes) boost bypass hole (over the inlet in the LIM) to the edge of the LIM.

And why? You'd think a person of your stature (formerly banned from this Forum, sneaking around under another username) would simply measure these things on your own 92 SSEi?
