Default Drive belt for 92 bonneville

My 92 Bonneville lost its drive. It appears that to replace the belt, the mount that is attached to the engine which holds the shock asorber has to be removed. Can this be true? Also the pulley and the shaft on the super charge appears to be stripped or loose from in side the super charger. Does this mean I have to replace the super charger? Be easy on me I am not a expert mechanic but I am not scared of fixing my own breakdowns.

I am unsure about your monuts, but the shaft. Is there play in the pulley is you spin it? The coupler inside it tends to start to wesr out after about 100,000 miles. Just take the SC pulley and spin it side to side to see if it spins some before the rotors inside the SC grab.

And you don't have to remove any mounts to change the belt. Just thread it around.
