Default boost solenoid?

on my 2000 ssei the boost control solenoid has ports for three vacuum lines. I noticed yesterday that the top port on the rh side from looking at from in front on the motor has no hose connected to it. Should this be connected to a vacuum source also. What efffect will this have not being connected?

No. It'* not used. That'* a vent for the solenoid.

It used to have a little foam filter on it. Ignore it.
