Boost in neutral
my brother owns my old 93 SSE supercharged
when i owned it i remembered showing somebody the positive boost and i couldnt get my car to produce boost in neutral it had to be in drive. i was looking at his car (im on vacation and he has had several problems with his car and wasnt driving it due to them (such as a bad master cylender) anyway to get to the point i noticed that if i tap the gas it will give boost momentarally and when i give it full throttle when im driving i notice that it kinda sounds like the supercharger is making a wimpering noise. is it possible that the boost valve is gummed up and it is causing the reaction of the boost valve to be delayed. has anybody had trouble like this? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure I fully understand, there is a whining sound that will come from the supercharger. It is usually more noticable when a different intake has been put on the car. As for boost in neutral..it is possible to see a blip when you rev, but you won't see much.
i understand there is going to be a whining sound, but this is like the whining sound goes in and our really quickly or changes pitch very quickly. and this is more than a hair of boost its hitting over 5 lbs in neutral before i could barely get the boost gauge to jump over 0
