Default BCS Question.

Does anyone have a picture of the vac lines? I think mine might be backwards from a previous install. I have a piece of vac line with a screw plugging it. im having spikes of 10psi and more.

this is at the spot where the back has the vac line going to with the plug in the back. I've seen some square filters on the vac lines on other cars, Im wondering if mine'* missing and that'* why they used the vac line with the screw plugging it.

That should be a vent and not plugged. The sponge is the factory filter and raraly lasts long if you touch it.

Keep in mind your 98 won't have the vacuum tree on the front. Your vacuum line will connect back to the FPR and get vacuum from under the nosedrive.

Thanks, I was thinking something didn't look right when I was poking around trying to figure out why I had boost spike. I thought the guage might have been off.
