I didn't mean to beat anyone up. You're specifically told you need a special puller for those, and i was mentionining that. It was more of a chuckle if anything.. :?

The pulley was put on by midas they put it on like they said they would do and the belt was replaced free of charge

quick question.

unless I missed something about the ongoing posts for this GTP aren't you suppesed to do the CAI before the pully swap.

preference...

i did my pulley before CAI also. the pulley just wont be getting full potential without the CAI

The CAI is in the mail and we ordered the CAI and the pulley at the same time the pulley came 1st tho CAI is comming soon.......... made by K+N it pulls harder now.. beat a older 1.9 escort manual that was turboed and intercooled today also

Sure. They put it on and replaced the belt after the destroyed the first pulley and completely botched the first attempt.

Killer, if we tell you something and you don't listen, and something gets botched in the process......don't post it. You're opening yourself up for abuse.

something that would worry me too is that hopefully they didnt mess up the shaft while destroying the stock pulley to get it off of it :?

Or the bearings and seals. That'* what I was thinking when I heard this. The pulley is the least of the concerns.

I should hope so, running on 5 cylinders and misifiring like a machine gun it should beat that.
