Walked into my local Advance last night and Mike asks me if our chargers use a mineral based or synthetic based oil.

Told him what I know... Don't use anything but supercharger oil from the dealer and that the part number was in techinfo on the club site.

Anyone know what the base of the oil is, mineral or synthetic?

Mineral and animal fats. To be accurate:

Fatty Acids
C5-10
Esters with dipentaerythritol
Phosphoric acid
phenyl diphenyl ester

GM part number 12345982, 4 oz bottle (118 ml)

And it stinks worse after you use it than it does in virgin condition.

That was one indepth analysis...was that from the package or have someone broken it down to get all that info?
