Ditto. Just do it right.

Nitrous can be just as safe as any other power adder, as long as you set it up properly. Which apparantly is pretty hard for some people to do.

Stating it as can be as safe as any power adder is a good way to look at it. And dry kits are only worthy of the trash can. You dont want to cause the engine more than a given point of additional torque. The kit I used was decided on from several factors; The accepted Hp limit of the block. I used a Hot Rod Builder who has a relationship with Northstar'* statement of 400 Hp with the stock bottom end. As well I have a locked PCM and cant retard the timing so I have had a couple small backfires. A bigger jet combo probably would have taken out my nylon manifold. . Reading up on technique and starting out slow is a big plus. Most nitrous mishaps are faulty installation and driver error. I could use some feed back myself from those that spray. If I leave the TPS sensor activated fron the get go I get a backfire. I can get the tires smoking and activate and it'* ok but I realize smoking tires off a launch will kill my ET. If I activate halfway through 1st gear the car wants to go sideways and has caused some tense moments. So I have been using it in 2nd just over 2k RPM. I havent tried it with the WSS sensor pulled off. Will this improve control as well as wheel spin?

My purge shoots right up the center of the winshield and the resulting ice there and across the moon roof concerns me.

Personally I don't knock Nitrous as much as some other members.
The only downside in my mind is cost and availablility of the refills.

I may try it sometime, but first I want to see how fast I can go without it.

So far I am quicker and faster than Dirthead without the NOx but I am injecting water instead.

Dirthead, did you run with the 3.25 using the NOx :?:

Dirthead, I deleted one of your posts for being entirely and completely off-topic.
