ok so my cars elect. system has been going nuts, all sort of crap is not working properly.. so i did what i thought would give me some answers... went to the dealership and described what was happening. To make a long story short they told me that it sounds like a control body, or module i really dont remember and that i should bring it in so that they can rip me off.... does that sound right? Do i really need to go to the dealer or can i do it myself? ..btw its a 98 ssei..

The bonnevilles have both a Body Control Module (BCM) and a Powertrain Control Module (PCM). To help us out, what electrical problems are occuring?

Often times, the ground connections by the footwells get corroded and need to be cleaned. You may want to search through the "electrical" forum or do a "Search" and type in "BCM" to see what help may be available.

ok then its definetly the BCM, i know that she did not say powertrain.. ok here is the list
-the dome lights dont come on at all
-the radio sometimes works, and when the radio doesnt work, neither do the windows
-the left turn signal doesnt work
-the trunk release does not work
-only 1(rear) speaker works
-the compass will not calibrate
-the a/c doesnt work properly
-the antenna goes up and down while driving
and thats all...all fuses are good, and i am not sure how to check the groundings..

to me it sounds like you have more than one problem going on as far as a source goes.

But I will let those who have much more experience answer/give their opinions on what is going on.
