Default Wiring Harness needed!

Car was in the body shop and was needing a weld in the wheel well. Short story...weld got too hot...melted wiring harness that comes into the drivers side and started shooting flames up through the defrost vents. I obviously need a "new" harness, dash and who knows what else. Guy at body shop "doesn't use a computer" so I'm trying to help him avoid insurance stuff and find a dash and wiring harness. I'm a little concerned about anything else being damaged as the car starting beeping and making noises in the electrical system and lights and ignition came on with the key being turned on. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If all else fails I'll have to call my insurance and let them handle. The guy is doing what he can but I'm not sure how much help to offer?

Sorry, I meant to say the "key being turned OFF" in my previous post...

If he'* a licensed vehicle repair shop, HIS insurance should cover the fubar. I strenuously suggest that you disconnect your battery until this is repaired.

Look up Morad Autoparts, great guys out there that specialize in 3800 parts. Most likely when you call, you'll be speaking to Eric.
