Actually that should be http://www.helminc.com . Our service manual people have that "inc" on the end; the bare-bones helm.com URL belongs to some marketing outfit.

To the original poster: The manual diagrams are organized by circuit functions rather than by area of the car. What are you in need of exactly?

I just thought it'd be neat to see how the steering wheel buttons route to the radio, how the radio goes through crossovers, and how that gain control works and whatnot. It'd be neat to know how the displays and computer are hooked up, too, just so i could make modifications and such to interior lighting & instrumentation as well as the sound system (which is the premium one, by the way. LOL...premium for that time, maybe). The rest (coils, lamps, etc.) would be neat to see just outta curiosity (like specifically how it deturmines when a bulb is out, relays, timing, etc.).

You are definitely a candidate for the Pontiac/Helm manual....

Look for one on eBay, too!

Not exactly what the intent was--Helm, Inc is the company that manufactures the Factory Service Manuals (FSM) for many vehicles. They will sell these manuals to the average person off the street (so to speak) but they are a little pricey--I think around $120 a set? Maybe higher?

Keep an eye out on ebay--I've picked up a full set for each of my cars:
96 Bonneville: $45
97 Grand Prix: $40
91 Bronco: $15
76 Datsun 280Z: $80 (yeah, they're a little harder to find)

It may take a while before you see them show up, but it seems like they eventually always do
