2000 Bonnie SE
Strange thing happened on the way to work the other day. Everything was good all systems were a go when I got out. Come out of work and the door locks and windows do not work. The drivers window and door lock still work but all the others are Knocked Out.

Checked underhood and back seat fuses all ok. Any ideas? Thanks for any help!

You will need to check on your door control module Ddalder is the guy to ask about this.

Just so I understand, everything functions normally on the drivers door (locks, window, mirror, etc)? From what I gather, no other doors work. Is this only when you try and control them from the drivers door controls or is this also when you try each door using the controls on each one independantly?

From the drivers door the only thing that works is the drivers window and lock.

Nothing at any individual door works including the interior lights. The remote fob opens the driver door and trunk only. It also looks like the driver side floor is wet if it helps any.

I have a couple of thoughts here but before I jump to any conclusion let me check a couple of diagrams. I'll try and post back here later today.

I'm going to assume that since your car is an SE you probably don't have a moonroof, is this correct?

Yes it does have a moonroof.
It'* a loaded out SE with just about everything on it.
Did not order it out it was an end of season deal. (grin)

I haven't forgotten about this, I've just been extremely busy.

What I'm wondering is if you lost data communication between the Driver Door Module (DDM) and the other three door modules. I need to review some diagrams to look for routing of the data line. There are also a couple of other possibilities as well.

The fact that there is water underneath your carpet is quite concerning. Most connectors are up and out of the way (unless you had an excessive amount), but it'* still possible that this could be moisture related. I'll come back to this once I've had a chance to look at diagrams and routing info. Regardless, you really need to find the source of the water because even if it isn't somehow related to this problem, it will cause you grief down the road.

Two possibilities are clogged or leaking sunroof drains. The other, and very common in the 2K+ Bonneville is leaking water deflectors behind the door panels.

I'll post back on the original issue as soon as possible. I have a suspicion you're going to want to pull the driver seat out and have a look underneath. If nothing else, make sure it'* dry under there once you find the source of the water.

My driver'* side carpet is soaking wet, I pulled it out and took the loom off the wire harness under the driver'* seat, I could see the green corrosion even before I took the tape off the factory installed splice connector.

The pictures tell the whole story. I cut back the infected wires until they were clean and spliced in a new section of wire. Now all the door locks and windows work as they should.
