2.93 gear ratio for the SSEi.

Maybe its a Federal mandate for 2000+ cars to have a lower FD to increase fuel economy.

Default So.

Should I still get the PCM re-programmed?

To accommodate the different gear ratio. No rush, it shouldn't hurt anything, but the PCM might tell the difference.

To accommodate the different VIN. I say, yes.

To have the average PCM programmed, even to just change something, it can run $100 or more. Unless you live close to someone that has HPTuners. Sorry, I live in NY.

Have you guys noticed that the Bonneville'* seem to handle the snow very well. I put snow tires on mine and I don't remember sliding in it.

The heated seats would be simpler than the HUD. I once tried to take a HUD system from a 98 SSE and I got halfway through tearing the dash out and noticed just exactly what an electrical nightmare it would be to swap it. You would even need the entire dash I believe.
